Tom Burrow

I bring over 30 years of financial services experience to my role as a mortgage agent with Mortgage Brokers Ottawa. In addition to working for the RBC Financial Group, I worked for several global financial institutions including UBS (Switzerland), Legg Mason (US) and Landsbanki (Iceland).

My financial services career started in small branches in rural B.C. I then went on to small business account management in Vancouver, head office roles in Toronto, and finally Vice President Treasury Products with Landsbanki in Ottawa.

I am very active in the community as a member of the Kiwanis Club, and as founder and President of a local whisky club, the Ottawa Whisky Guild. Since arriving in Ottawa 5+ years ago, I have served on the board of Ottawa Gymnastics Club, the Sierra Club Foundation and the Canadian Society of Association Executives. In September I will start a term as a board director with the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa.

My wife Helen and I live in the west end of the city and have three sons Derek, Daniel and Jonathan. I love kayaking, gardening, photography, home renovations, and of course, whisky tasting.
